Rockstar Raw Clip Contest

We've teamed up with Rockstar for a bit of Instagram fun...

How to enter:

- Film a clip of something BMX related

- Upload it to your Instagram

- Tag @bmxbutikken and @rockstarenergydenmark

- Include the hashtag #rockstarrawclips

Prizes:

1st Place

Rules:

- Everyone can enter, but as this is a Rockstar DK thing, the winners must have a Danish address we can ship to.

- The clip has to be a single trick/line with no editing

- You can enter as many times are you like

- The contest ends Friday 31st January, 2014. Winners will be announced the same day. Prizes will be sent out Monday 3rd February

This Saturday is the grand opening of the new park out on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. We (BMX Butikken) have worked hard with Ramp-Riders and Copenhagen BMX to get this place up and running and we hope this is the first of what will become an annual event.

Food and refreshments available on site and if you are from out of town, bring a tent for some free on site camping.

Xmas Jam and Hold Fast

Xmas Jam is done for another year and it was fun as always. As usual, none of us were organised enough to take photos. I'm sure some will pop up in the next few days.

In the meantime, check out Hold Fast for the results. They've also got an Xmas Sale of their own going on. Good deals on all their shirts and hoodies. Check it!

BMX CPH is next week!

We've been killing ourselves on this one, but oh boy will it be worth it!

Let's call this a BMX Butikken x Ramp-Riders x DKFC production. Everyone has been putting in huge amounts of work to make this event happen. Frank from Ramp-Riders has donated his time and hard earned cash to put an amazing bowl together, even flying in Ryan Corrigan to help out with the build.

Jeppe from DKFC has been working permit magic and calling in favours all over town and over the last week we've had great support from the DKFC crew on clean-ups and organising the hall for next week.

Simple Bike Co's Adrian Malmberg is confirmed and he is bringing Axel Parke with him:

The Million Dollar Baby aka MDB aka Big Tuna aka Lil Joke aka Lil Jocke aka Big T Fresh Steaks will also be in attendance and he is bringing a certain Scandinavian BMX legend with him by the name of Klas Löwbeer. Expect fireworks...

All the BMX Butikken team riders will be there as well as Michael and Morten Larsen, Lasse Søltoft and all the other Danish shredders. It is going to be a great 2 days and an even better bowl contest. We hope to see you all there!

CPH:FIX B-Roll

Last weekend we did our first fixed-gear freestyle jam and it was lots of fun. A few BMXers came along for the fun and we got a little session in on the mini at Boblehallen while everyone else was busy BBQing.

Jonas from Sofus Fransisco filmed the fun and put out this little edit. Old men, BMX bikes and Dinosaur Jr. Good times. Jonas is also working hard on the full edit of the days fun, so keep an eye out for that.

CPH:FIX

Are your wheels on the larger side? Do your pedals just keep going round and round and round? If you answered yes, then this is for you!

BMX Butikken and Sofus Fransisco have teamed up to bring you CPH's first ever Fixed Gear Freestyle jam. There's nothing ground-breaking in the planning, just a day in the sun at some street spots, finishing up with beers, a BBQ and a session on Bobleplads.

Whether you're into 3'ing down stairs and jumping off buildings, or doing wheelies and some back-wheel-spinnery, or just want to come down and check it out - you are more than welcome! Beers, BBQ and a session for bikes of all types and sizes at Bobleplads in the evening. Come one, come all!

I am seriously starting to doubt whether this much caffiene is a good idea...

Lots of Monster

There'll be plenty of free Monster throughout the day to keep you going at both the Aalborg and Copenhagen jams, as well as a bunch of cans for the best trick at each spot.

The boys from Monster in Sweden made the trip down today just to drop these off for us. Stoked!

The Spring Sessions have arrived!

2 cities, 2 street jams and 2 days of sunshine, or at least we hope! We, in cooperation with the boys from BMX Slisken, are holding back to back street jams in Aalborg and København.

As usual, lots of prizes and other random bits to give away during the day, followed by a BBQ/session at Vejgaard in Aalborg and Boblehallen in Kbh.

Xmas Jam Video

The Xmas Jam this year was amazing. Definitely the best one I have been to so far. A big thanks to all the boys up there for organising a great event.

A few of the Flensburg boys made it up and Mattis put a nice edit together of the days riding.

Save shipping on Xmas Jam orders!

BMX Butikken will be coming up to the Xmas Jam, so anyone looking to save a few DKK on shipping should get their orders in and we'll bring them up for you. Hand delivery halfway across the country, how is that for service?

To get free shipping, you need to do two things:

- Order by 1700 Friday 10th December

- Use the code "xmas-jam-delivery" at http://www.bmxbutikken.dk/checkout/cart/

**(you will need to add some products to your cart, then enter the code in the box at the bottom right of the screen).

We will also be bringing up a few bits and pieces, but mainly stuff to keep people's bikes running throughout the session (chains, tubes etc).
